Organic Agriculture Development in Sub-Sahara Africa (ODISSA) Project The ODISSA project effectively commenced in September and is being implemented by OPPAZ, GART and WCS on the one hand and KATC and UNZA on the second hand.
OPPAZ is the overall coordinator of actions and is responsible for ensuring efficiency and effectiveness of implementation by GART and WCS. The project is promoting production of organic cotton approximately 1,000 households in Keembe, Kabwe and Lundaazi. The project is also conducting organic cotton production trials at GART. The total project grant is US$55,500 for the first year for all partners. The OPPAZ component is US$12,405.
